About the university

In 1858, in Yekaterinburg, a county town in the Perm province, at the intersection of Monastyrskaya and Uktusskaya streets, the construction of a building for the Yekaterinburg Theological School, founded in 1833, was completed. Well-known writers and scientists studied here, among them A.S. Popov, P.P. Bazhov, D.N. Mamin-Siberian.

In 1918, the building was placed military academy. In 1919, the building was transferred to the newly opened Ural University.

In the 1960s, when transformations began in the national economy and Soviet Union economists with higher education were needed, the question arose of opening economic universities in a number of regions, including the Urals. In the building of the former theological school, a branch of the Moscow Institute of National Economy named after V.I. G.V. Plekhanov - MINKH.

In 1967, by order of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the RSFSR, the Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy - SINH was organized on the basis of the Faculty of Economics of the Ural State University and a branch of the Moscow Institute of National Economy. In 2009, for the first time in the history of USUE, a fundamental transformation of the structure of the university took place, caused by the transition to a two-level system of education "bachelor-master". In USUE-SINH the first in Russian Federation a training and commercial bank ("VUZ-bank") was created, designed to provide, along with theoretical, intensive practical training of financial specialists. The presence of "VUZ-bank" and qualified teaching staff at the Faculty of Finance served as the basis for the fact that the university became the base for targeted training of specialists for the Central Bank of Russia.

Research activities

In 2009, the composition of the editorial and publishing council was updated in accordance with the new structure of the university; the first issue of the scientific-analytical journal "Upravlenets" was published. I entered in 2016 full-time, the direction of applied informatics, stayed there for a year and a half and simply ran away from this university. There is a mess in the dean's office, it is not clear what they feed in the dining room, half of the university was poisoned there, the teachers do not observe any competence. You can buy tests and exams and it's legal. Terrible university, terrible teachers, many regretted that they study there. In some places, when they hear "SINCH" they don't want to hire.
