The program is aimed at foreign citizens who already have a language proficiency level of at least basic (A-2) and continue to study Russian at a higher level.

The program allows you to gain new language competencies, and if you wish, and subject to studying for at least a semester, pass the state testing in Russian as a foreign language for the first or second certification levels (B-1, B-2).

As an additional component, the program includes excursions in literary and art museums.

Summer schools

For a number of years, Moscow State University has been holding Summer Schools for foreign students. These are special educational programs that take place in July or August and combine both training sessions, as well as excursions to the sights of the capital and the Moscow region, master classes in traditional Russian art and Russian cuisine, as well as just walks in nature.

    Foreign citizens are admitted to state educational institutions and vocational education of the Russian Federation in accordance with, as well as agreements concluded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and other ministries and departments in charge of, with state educational authorities foreign countries.

    The International Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, in agreement with the Interdepartmental Commission on International Partnership in Education, annually submits for approval to the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia a draft plan for the admission and distribution of foreign citizens regardless of the departmental subordination of these institutions. The admission plan is prepared on the basis of applications from interested federal executive bodies (ministries and departments) in charge of, as well as embassies of the Russian Federation in foreign countries.

    Enrollment of foreign citizens in the Russian Federation within the allocated state scholarships for everything and advanced training is carried out on the basis of the direction Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.

    3.1. Foreign citizens who do not speak are enrolled in the preparatory faculties of educational institutions; term of study at the preparatory faculty - one year .

    3.4. Foreign students who did not show at the preparatory faculty the knowledge necessary for studying in the corresponding educational institution, deducted.

  1. originals or copies of documents on education and all stipulated applications indicating the subjects studied and the grades (points) obtained in exams in these subjects, as well as, if necessary, documents legalized in the prescribed manner, certificates of establishing the equivalence of a document on education, etc. ;

    duly certified translation into Russian of a document of a foreign state on education and its annex (if such an annex is provided for by the legislation of the state that issued the document on education);

    a copy of the identity document of the applicant, or a document proving the identity of a foreign citizen in the Russian Federation;

    copies of documents or other evidence confirming that a compatriot living abroad belongs to the groups provided for in Article 4 of the Federal Law;

    a copy of the visa for entry into the Russian Federation, if a foreign citizen arrived in the Russian Federation on an entry visa;

    the required number of photographs (usually 6 photographs 4 x 6 cm).

    All translations into Russian must be made in the name and surname specified in the entry visa.

    A foreign citizen entering the program or under the training program submits either about or a document of a foreign state on education, recognized as equivalent in the Russian Federation to a state document on secondary (complete) general education or secondary vocational education.

    Foreign citizens who have, or, or a specialist diploma, or a document of a foreign state on education recognized as equivalent in the Russian Federation to a bachelor's degree, or a specialist diploma with a higher professional education, or a specialist diploma are admitted to study under the programs.

    In addition, for candidates, it is necessary to provide duly certified copies of a document of higher education at the level of either science / arts and an extract from the test sheet or sheet of subjects studied with grades (points), as well as a list of published scientific works(If there are any).

    It is desirable for candidates arriving for advanced training to have an internship program (plan).

    On August 25, 2008, the Government of the Russian Federation adopted. In accordance with this Decree, foreign students of federal state educational institutions higher and secondary vocational education should receive government scholarships throughout the entire period of study, regardless of their academic performance. In addition, foreign students must be provided places in hostels on the same terms as for citizens of the Russian Federation studying at the expense of the federal budget. Foreign students mean both citizens of foreign countries and compatriots living abroad.
