Today, quality management is one of the most important areas of management, which is designed to organize the work of an enterprise in such a way that the consumer always receives a high quality product or service. In international practice, special procedures, methods and tools have been developed, which together make up the quality management system. There are over 1 million companies in the world that have implemented modern quality management systems. There are still about 30,000 such organizations in Russia, but their number is constantly growing.

The problem of quality never loses its relevance, it is essentially constant. Quality, today is no longer perceived as an abstract category, but as a strategic task, the successful solution of which largely determines the stability of the Russian economy, its place in world production and distribution. That is why in the Kuban state university at the Department of World Economy and Management the direction of preparation of bachelors 27.03.02 "Quality Management" profile "Quality Management in Socio-Economic Systems" was opened.
