The world is not as we see it. Is the world really the way we see it? Russia is not for the sad

Your Lord knows best how long you have been (18:19)

To what extent does the world we perceive correspond to reality? In other words, is the world as we see it?

The latest brain and brain activity show that our eyes are not " unbiased"translators of external reality into the human brain. In fact, the eyes are a kind of slaves of the brain. The brain is able to distort and distorts the visible picture and interprets it, supplementing it with data and images stored in it (i.e., in memory, or the source of visual images). Only after this, a not quite real picture arises, which we perceive as the world we see.

So vision is not a one way process, flowing from the object through the eyes to the brain for subsequent fixation. The fact that we are influenced by the imagination! Moreover, the imagination is capable of distorting the picture of the world that comes through the vision so strongly that it is not surprising to make a mistake, heading for the abyss, instead of walking along a level road.

Even such a paradox as the absence of " places”, where two processes, i.e. seeing with the eyes and creating images with the brain are combined. In fact, we are talking about the fact that the process of seeing, which we are all very familiar with, is a form of sleep! Moreover, the work of the brain in this dream is primary, it is he who creates images that become reality with the help of information received through the eyes. Brain processes are more important than what is happening around us. This means that each of us creates our reality anew each time.

This feature of the human worldview was noticed by Omar Khayyam, who wrote:

Two people were looking out the window.
One saw rain and mud
The other is green foliage,
Spring and the sky is blue.

So, how we perceive the world depends on what our inner world is like, on what our heart is. It depends only on the state of our heart whether we will see the signs-ayats of the Almighty in the events of this world, thanks to which faith will be strengthened, or we will see only the negative, because of which our heads will bow and inescapable longing will amaze the already suffering heart.

Another important conclusion from the above is that our whole life turns out to be a kind of dream. This is confirmed in the hadiths. For example, the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him!) said: “ People are sleeping. When they die, they wake up". Even in the Noble Quran there is an indirect confirmation of this idea:

“Your Lord knows best how long you have been” (18:19).

This verse refers to young men who, by the will of the Almighty, spent 309 years in a state of sleep, but it seemed to them that they slept only a few hours.

I imagine the state of a person who has been chasing all his life, completely ignoring the high desires of his soul. For him there was no other reality than worldly life. However, when his death hour comes, he will lay down and die for his relatives and friends. But in the Upper World, he will wake up and find with great bitterness that his hands are empty, that he himself has deprived himself of the opportunity to accumulate the only currency that has value in the Next World - sincere worship of the Almighty and good deeds.

The field of distorted reality is what Bud Tribble called the special behavior of Steve Jobs. However we feel about this phenomenon, Apple's phenomenal growth has shown that the distorted reality field doesn't just exist, it actually works. And more and more managers, leaders, politicians use this technique to influence their environment and build a different, effective reality.

The following excerpt from the book Field of distorted reality. We see the world as we see it (Arsen Avetisov) provided by our book partner - the company LitRes.

PART 1

The world that doesn't exist

Our ideas about the world do not keep up with its changes. Mankind, like a circus pony, performs the same number in an endless performance of history. Every time we enter the arena, and every time it seems unfamiliar to us.

The world is rapidly changing. Every trendy seminar or lecture begins with these words and others like them, and not because it is a tradition carefully honored by all or some kind of inspiring mantra for the audience. We just think that for us it is the most important of what is happening around. Everything significant and dear to us is changing. The shape of Coca-Cola bottles has changed, frightening inscriptions on cigarettes have appeared, the quality of business class meals has deteriorated, there are more Olympic sports, streets, metro stations, mobile phone tariffs, and these are the most insignificant changes, and if only they. In fact, we live in a completely different world, not the way we imagine it or the way it is obligingly presented to us.

We do not want to fully admit to ourselves that our ideas about the world are far behind the changing pictures of reality, from commercials and provocative announcements. Reflections on this topic are similar to a description of some kind of parallel reality inhabited by other creatures, maddeningly similar to us, but much more cynical and mired in consumerism.

We forbid ourselves to speak frankly on such topics, because in our hearts we consider ourselves obliged to bear personal responsibility for this world. And this is not as pleasant for us as any other responsibility, not so aesthetic, inopportunely cruel and shamelessly undisguised by marketing.

The truth is that we changed the world. We ourselves, with our impatience, unquenchable thirst for profit, innate laziness, gluttony and money-grubbing, adultery and despondency, and, finally, technical progress fanatically idolized by us, which, accordingly, serves all these motivations and petty pernicious inclinations and habits encouraged by society.

This is us, holding a hamburger with one hand, pressing the rocket launch button with the other, clinging to the mobile phone with one ear and the ipod earpiece with the other, looking out for stock curves with one eye, and following the tearful series with the other eye. We have changed the world, and we have changed it this way. “Not the way we wanted,” we whisper justifying ourselves, “but the way it turned out.” But there is another truth: if we changed the world in this way, then this is exactly the world we wanted.

We have changed the world and, accordingly, we are faced with new tasks for us of accomplished changes, with a completely different, previously not so relevant reality. The bitterness and annoyance of this new and changing reality is due to the fact that we, having gone through this whole path of incessant crazy technical progress and innovation, have not been able to change ourselves, to fully prepare for a more or less effective existence in the changed world we created.

But we try, we try very hard, we climb with all our strength, we strain everything that can be strained. We finally sentenced and shot our time, wore out stacks of credit cards, emptied cigar humidors and rows of vintage bottles. We continue to rape established connections and totally exploit the possibilities of our society. In response, we get stress, obesity, vascular disease and hormonal shifts, and a bit of success, if we're lucky.

"We don't see the world as it is, we see the world as we are."

T A L M U D

Paralyzed bewilderment and absurd injustice: how, by launching rockets, building skyscrapers, stepping on the moon, recalculating the gene helix and, most difficult, building financial pyramids over and over again and forcing all, without exception, stingy pessimists to believe in the real possibility of this construction, we cannot the most minimal and insignificant - to change ourselves, a grain of sand in the seven billionth ocean of unfulfilled hopes.

“Perhaps our world is the hell of some other planet.”

ALDOS HUXLEY

Changing oneself turned out to be much, much more difficult than walking on the moon or splitting atoms in a controlled and controlled manner in a European underground. When was the last time you consciously changed your habits? What have you radically changed in yourself in the conditions of the enraged flow of information, pixel reality and endless traffic jams? It's corks and pixels that have changed you.

Maybe you should stop and think? But even not so - we do not have enough time for short-term, but serious thoughtful stops. “How so? - we think, making active dashes between the schedule items of our daily planner, how so, we, having digested the lessons of history, knowing how the rapid rises of brilliant personalities end, how political wars and promising business start-ups are conducted, like us, armed with Deep Blue computers , tablets, and the H-bomb, as we continue to stumble upon huge, the size of our irrepressible ambitions, the good old rake. And there is nothing we can do about it.” History lessons turned out to be nothing more than an open optional elective. As if the world didn't even exist. As if he doesn't exist.

The most consistent and educated among us, in search of an answer to the question about the nature of the immortality of the “rake phenomenon” in the world, besieged libraries and studied dusty multi-volume books. “I owe everything good in myself to books,” the classic whispered intimately to them, sternly looking from the portrait of the school iconostasis. But neither whispers, nor dusty tomes - nothing could dispel the sugary-thick fog of human predictability.

But if they are consistent and purposeful, if they fail to find an answer, then maybe they read the wrong books and walk along the wrong streets? Portraits of the wrong classics are hung on the walls and the wrong whisper is heard. Of course not. In this non-existent world, everything good in myself I owe to myself.

But there are exceptions.

Out of history, out of competition

It's not that you follow change, it's that you anticipate it. The stories of the Great Figures who made the basic sketches for our idea of civilization and responsibility to it are amazing. Success doesn't always turn out where you expect it.

Of course, even in this timelessness of changes, personalities appeared who changed the world in themselves and the world around them. They were so ahead of their time, or, in other words, they changed the world so deeply and dramatically that they not only went down in history, they became our history. Brave happy owners of noble intellects, endowed with a spark of prophecy and the responsibility of universal decisions.

An open club of keepers of the secret of creating an altered reality, to enter which you need a true desire, sincere dedication and - as a sacrifice - life itself. We assume that there were many such members of the club, but the vast majority were buried by inattentive historians and attentive politicians. So today we are content to get acquainted with only a small company of heroes whom we admire, with those who could, with those who changed, in different areas, at different levels, with different meanings for history and humanity. Their main credo is the result. They did it.

Let's talk about some of them - the unknown about the famous, or what they actually changed.

Isaac Newton- despite poor health in infancy, lived to 84 years. One of the founders of classical physics. He lived all his life in England and never traveled outside of it. But for England and the world as a whole, the most important role was played not by his discoveries, described by the classic plot with a falling apple, but by his public service at the Mint. He created a stable monetary system for his country, and this is the most important achievement of Isaac for his contemporaries, which had an impact on the entire subsequent world order. By the way, he was a gambler and even managed to lose more than 20,000 pounds on the South Sea Company, after which he uttered his catchphrase that he could calculate the movement of celestial bodies, but not the degree of crowd madness.

Mahatma Gandhi- a man who amazed the world with his reasonable, true nobility and dedication, service to the country and people. Received the nickname "Great Soul" from another famous Hindu - Rabindranath Tagore, married 13 years old, and at 19 already went to London to get a law degree.

"The world is big enough to satisfy the needs of any person, but too small to satisfy human greed."

MAHATMA GANDHI

Gandhi's philosophy of non-violence influenced the nature of all subsequent world changes. "Half-naked fakir", as Sir Winston Churchill called him.

Albert Einstein- a photographer who showed that, while staying on Earth, one can see the entire Universe as a whole and enjoy understanding the laws that move Eternity. Author of 300 works and 150 books. Played the violin. One of the historical coincidences: if Newton was born in the year of Galileo's death, as if taking over from him the scientific baton, then Einstein was born in the year of Maxwell's death. When Einstein was innocently asked where his laboratory was, he smiled and pointed to his fountain pen.

Mother Teresa- it seemed, how can one so recklessly spend his whole life caring for leprosy patients in an era of the most developed and seductive capitalism? Albanian

Agnes Gonja Boyadjiu, nun, founder of the Sisters of Missionary Love congregation for women, was awarded in 1997 the highest award of the United States - the Congressional Gold Medal and Nobel Prize didn't think so. Currently, the congregation has 400 branches in 111 countries and 700 charity houses.

Steve Jobs- about him, respectively, in more detail. He usually wore a black St. Croix with long sleeves, Levis 501 blue jeans and New Balance 991 sneakers. He was a Pasqueterian, meaning he ate fish but no meat. He drove a silver 2006 Mercedes SL 55 AMG without license plates, which he turned out to be changing to a new one every 6 months so as not to put numbers on it. Luckily California law allows it. Knowing that he was terminally ill with cancer, he worked until the last minute on the future of the world. Such a world as he himself and millions of his fans saw it. He was sure that every person should leave a dent in the Universe with his life. His dent turned out to be a whole crater. The most valuable company in the world. And it was thanks to him that the phenomenon of the "Field of Distorted Reality" was described, which was no less characteristic of all those we mentioned.

How did they manage to create this sustainable reality distortion construct? Maybe you and I are not naive enough, not as inquisitive and not as cheerful as these heroes? At first glance, we are fundamentally no different from them. Same species, same class, same genes, basically the same. The same hopes for a happy future.

“Life is not about finding yourself. Life is the creation of oneself.

GEORGE BERNARD SHOW

Occasionally, when for a short time we are united by some goal, we can succeed. More than 20 years ago (in 1985), a whole group of superstars who performed with the song "We are the world" recorded a single that raised 61 million 800 thousand dollars, which went to purchase medicines and food for the starving children of Ethiopia. They did it with typical American tearful touching close-ups of excited megastars' faces. Nobility and empathy are stateless, have no abbreviations, but can be associated with a particular profession.

So, returning to the starving people in Africa... Sometimes we are amazed that some field of moral reality exists parallel to our world. That is something that moves people, then something that can also inspire them consistently, in addition to an unquenchable thirst for profit and endless holidays of vanity. Today we began to be amazed that there is someone who feels personally responsible for this defenseless and, probably, the most comfortable world in the Universe. The world is as beautiful as it is defenseless. The world that doesn't exist.

But it is still insanely beautiful, this world, and especially from space. As in the famous, now classic, NASA photograph taken by the Apollo 17 crew, there is a magical blue ball. A small and cozy space object that sheltered a seven billionth civilization.

The world that is

Technological progress and the permanent information revolution have radically changed the world and our way of life. Charismatic leaders give way to cynical functionaries. The world lacks real, living leaders. They are replaced by the digitized heroes of the dream factory. There are many recipes in the preparation of success, but few results. Success is where there is action and there is fun.

IN Lately we often use the thesis that our world has become smaller, and in all respects. Could the planet really shrink? Of course, this is not so, of course, the planet remained within the same limits with the same diameter and with the same unimaginable weight - 5.97 times 10 to the 24th degree of kilograms. And, as always, it rushes through the boundless darkness of space at a crazy speed of 29.78 km / s, trying to keep its orbit extremely accurately. But something has really changed in her. Something made our world smaller.

Our possibilities of influencing the fundamental categories of this world have changed. We began to build our relationship with space and time in a new way. The speed of our movement on this planet rushing silently in space, which has grown thousands of times, has affected our sense of the surrounding space. The speed of our movement changes our perception of the world, and with it our idea of the size of this world.

Imagine how long it took Lomonosov to get from Kholmogory to Moscow. Three weeks in a fish cart. Landscapes were changing all around, the day turned into night, there was time to think and think about yourself and your place in this slowly changing world around. Space and time flowed around him as if in parallel, along with the moving convoy smelling of fish and drunken peasants.

But it's not just about speed. The space has become denser, including under the terabytes of information tsunami covering it. What about Lomonosov. Imagine what any pilgrim experienced when traveling from one province to another. A landscape slowly passing by and, accordingly, a completely unambiguous stable flow of lazy information of a gradually changing environment. What now? An hour - and you are already in a completely different world. Eight hours - and you discover another continent. How long did Columbus sail to him? (Officially sailed on August 3, 1492, October 13, he landed on the land of America.) And how many perished in the ocean of fates and hopes, how many lives lay on the chopping block of the history of travel, so that today you could spend eight tedious and idle hours on the road in company of helpful stewards, getting acquainted with the latest video rentals and complaining about tasteless dinners?

“For 10 years, the number of email. letters grew from 12 to 247 billion a day. SMS - 0.0004 to 4.5 billion per day. The time spent on the network is from 2.7 to 18 hours.

KATHRYN DAVIDSON

Fairy-tale ships, fast and electronic castles in the air, two decks and four engines accommodate up to 853 passengers in their huge belly, delivering them in a few hours to the New World with its always smiling white-toothed population of obsessive dentist cultists.

In this country, despite the largest number of churches and various denominations, in fact there is no other cult than the cult of success, at any age, in any profession,

- any skin color. Success cult! Maybe this is correct? Do not even think - it's definitely right!

"You must be rich and free, otherwise you will be bought and humiliated."

But the usual conditions of the game with the main and only prize "SUCCESS" are going through difficult times today. The conditions have become incredibly difficult, while the value of the main prize is significantly lower. Can these prizes, in the form of blind and cold pixels, line up in seven or eight figures of a bank account, can these prizes carry the precious dust of worn sandals of many years of travel? When you, leisurely glancing at the majestic expanse of Central Tibet, feel the weightless burden of hermitage and at the same time - a jubilant reunion with the Universe. Eternal and torment. Mortal and space. The incomparable cannot be compared. Yes, and there is no need.

Let's return to the mortal. The path to success today is accompanied by many technologies. At least that's how it's shown to us. Lots of technology, little time. And please tell me how to become in the conditions of this super-technological

– ultra-information world super-efficient and highly demanded? How to become Lomonosov, Columbus, Kurchatov, Wright brothers or Count Zeppelin? How to get infected with this charisma - this magical power that turns the incredible into reality, and the air into gold, into a bright, happy, rich reality. White-toothed, shamelessly evoking the charismatic cult reality of New World dentists.

“Charisma is a certain set of individual characteristics of a person that distinguish him from an ordinary person and make him be considered endowed with supernatural, superhuman, or at least exceptional qualities and power.”

MAX WEBER

This is roughly how our world is. Millions of applicants and a few who proved. A world in which only the mute does not talk about leadership designed to change reality, and even the mute skillfully stuffs his understanding of this leadership into posts on social networks or microblogging.

What does this leadership really consist of? Even among people with disabilities, there are many examples of phenomenal leadership in building a distorted reality of success after that reality has been forever changed by a painful illness. And it is not surprising that, in percentage terms, there are much more such examples among the disabled than among healthy people with unlimited possibilities.

“If you want a team of track and field athletes to win a high jump competition, you will find one athlete who can jump seven feet, not seven who take one foot each.”

THE TERMAN INNOVATION ACT

The description of leaders who change reality began with the retellings of a blind singer, almost an eyewitness of the Trojan War, and the subsequent long return of the heroes home, and has reached almost to the present day in fragmentary newspaper editorials, a black-and-white chronicle of the last World War that plowed old Europe. We assume, no, we believe that leaders are imbued with charisma that drives reality to change like a goose to apples. They must breathe it, live it, spread this distorting ambergris throughout the space of their physical and informational presence. Leadership today is not associated either with a crown of thorns or with the chains of the martyrs of the dark Middle Ages. It does not blind us with the suffering grin of the Stoics of the struggle against world imperialism and does not touch us with the sacrifice or rebellion of "flower children" in the name of anything.

Leadership today means constant correct and responsible decisions and white-toothed sparkling, inspiring, captivating success. Mind and emotions, actions and impressions.

Who are the leaders of today's world? What are they? Today, we can already assume that they are, of course, “swarthy” against the background of the Stars and Stripes flag. Is it really original? A few years ago, such a design, such an unthinkable combination of stripes, stars, skin tones and electoral decisions, could not break through the relaxed Kentucky Daniels bourbon sleep censorship of the average West Virginia voter. Even so, what is this, if not the most blatant marketing from the most aggressive democracy in the world? Democracy, declaiming the possibilities of the most perfect political system and glorifying such a living fictional national dream. How do you like this distorted reality? Even if so, if all this is the products of the transition from primitive to civilized slavery. If it's just a high-quality creative... Even if it is, then, as you noticed, white-toothed success is always present in all cases and with any combination of other components - from skin color to the design of the flag.

What does a modern leader decide when trying to create a new reality? What is the value and significance of his deeds, what is the magnitude and power of his thoughts? How does the leader of the most powerful state in all respects in the world live and how does he understand his leadership? What else does he think about, except for the appeal repeated every four years in different forms and packages: “Change is what you can, this is all we need, and, in fact, that's all.”

For the last half century, his predecessors have been fighting and, admittedly, quite successfully, with the Evil Empire they themselves designated, they were the mediators of peace in the Middle East itself and such a dangerous East, they cut (painfully cut and bloody) incomprehensible, but relatively stable European Slavic-Muslim the Balkan Union, and even when Europe was once again reshaped under the bombs of the North Atlantic coalition, the leader of the world at that time was calmly having fun with a portly and not entirely devoted assistant. But the world understood him as a man, and the world forgave him. For some time, the reality was so distorted that the primitive adultery was on the same scale with a high moral responsibility for this world, and the world still forgave. He forgave me, touched by sincere repentance and naive male frankness, once again, mind you, saying white-toothed: “Look, I’m the same as you, with the same momentary weaknesses and temptations that overtake a person in the office, regardless of whether he is Oval or not” . Was it worth it or, in other words, was she worth it? This is the only question that interested the world, at least the half of it that managed to forgive him.

What about today?

The world is left without leaders, charismatic personalities leave, functionaries come, not the best of functionaries. Real, true functionaries, enthusiastic professionals are hidden behind the scenes, billions of dollars in accounts, "round tables" and temporary alliances. Their boring representatives remain on the stage. Sometimes friends.

Is it possible to compare the current leaders with the mighty trio of the 40s of the last century, which decided the fate of the world for the next decades? Without justifying the excesses and possible paranoid attacks, you still wonder: how did the legendary heavyweights depicted on the bench of the Livadia Palace, at that level of development of communication technologies, manage to create such a strong field of their ultimatum leadership? Maybe that's why, or maybe not. The leaders remained in the last century. Three pillars, the confident and cunning decisions of which partially determine today's post-war world order. And what about the dashing cowboy film actor, who proved that endless and sincere faith and energy, demonstrative devotion to ideals, innate modesty, accessibility and closeness to the people, complete empathy for the problems of his native country - all this is more and more significant than all the universities he has not completed and even overrated petrodollars of one sixth of the land. Sincere and professional emotionality, the ability to adequately convey your message to your beloved and loving crowd, TV audience, onlookers, patriots and the unemployed. People will always understand when you are sincere with them. What to say about the leader who managed the whole world make believe in the existence of a space thriller? A mass of specialists and politicians unconditionally got involved in the fight against a non-existent enemy.

Once Reagan was asked about the US strategy in the Cold War with the Union: "It's very simple," he said, "we win, they lose."

Such a really simple and compelling strategy. In general, the history of the most democratic democracy is extremely instructive. Show must go on. Stunning footage of live broadcasts of the conflict, like a disaster movie, and now detachments of contract soldiers are sent to a military operation thousands of miles from their native Oklahoma. “We will punish the mustachioed dictator and we will not leave friends (read “oil partners”) in trouble.” "Desert Storm", the triumph of Schfarzkopf and Pauls.

“Each of us must have our own war, dad,” the son supposedly said to his father. Traces from the shadows of weapons of mass destruction were urgently found, and rockets flew to Baghdad for the second time. And then - everything is as always: behind-the-scenes activity of the inner circle, won tenders, oil development, reconstruction, development of budgets, ordinary business. World Leaders? Business Leaders. Businesses with a very capital "P". Politics.

Europe is no exception...

Cynical Magyar or Magyar cynic. Napoleon of the second decade of the XXI century. From time to time and out of necessity, beautifully juggling the norms and concepts of virtue, moderately deceitful, like any politician. Although for a politician all these qualities, rather, there are necessary competencies. A fresh look at personal life and marriage, a fresh look at the understanding of partnership and duty. Change, change everywhere. All in the past. That is life. History will write off.

The creation of reality distortion fields is so frankly cynical among our contemporaries that such an altered reality inspires only themselves and the media, who are so afraid of being left without hot and burning news.

But the cynicism of the leaders is similar to the cynicism of the doctor from the popular series. The hero of today's TV world is a drug addict doctor, a professional, an erudite, tough, absolutely cynical and ironic in terms of script with a touch of youthful romanticism, and, accordingly, the doctor himself is also chronically ill. Contradictory, completely contradictory, but a hero.

Until now, characters have come to TV shows and movies from real life. But the wind has changed, the road has diversified the rules of two-way traffic - the heroes of the screen were transported to real life. And the corrupt heroes of modern reality have become just a sad inevitability, with which we agreed. This is the world we agreed to.

But even this world, with which we conditionally agree, is not up to us at all. The world is diligently busy with the endless cultivation of the matrix of its devoted adherents - consumers. This is the most important and responsible task of today's world. The world of consumers, where consumers themselves live in myth and illusion, believing that they are the ones who control this world. This concept is widely promoted in all textbooks on marketing, macro- and microeconomics, in business schools and at blitz seminars. But in fact, it is the consumers who are the slaves of this world. A world where one pharaoh with numerous names and titles still rules - profit, money, acquisitiveness, greed, pride, flattery, and these are not all of his names.

Well-bred consumers are the only possible breeding ground for the pharaoh. And consumers have Key Performance Indicators: engaged and committed, fully focused on their core function of consuming and, by consuming, enriching the already real pharaohs of business and the world. Tell me what you consume and I will tell you who you are. Say how you consume, and here's another category for the ubiquitous statistics - the sighted sister of divination. What you consume is an unconditional value for you, and if you consume an illusion, then it is the illusion that is the main value in your life.

But what is really valuable for us? What are the so-called correct and eternal values? It is clear that there are several verified clichés of values, meaningless test patterns, according to which you must give correct and completely predictable answers: freedom, family, work, self-realization. Further, and as closely as possible between these standard responses, each of the respondents presents perhaps the most diverse list of valuables: a car, a summer house, a music system, a dozen suits, a collection of rubies, a factory, a black American Express card, and a course of exclusive travel. For someone, the most careless, - a yacht.

But the most interesting and paradoxical thing awaits us outside the standard or extended line of values. There is, surely there is something elusive, with a slight, but such a persistent aftertaste of what we call "fun". And it is this concept of “fun” that we feel as the most valuable, but completely useless, like a Faberge egg. It is difficult to translate this concept literally - this is far from happiness and not yet joy, but something like fun with an admixture of life-affirming crafty courage.

This concept is so close, ironic and childishly kind that without it in our world everything is not right and wrong and everything is unimportant. Like the Coen Brothers movies. In their stories and the worlds they built somehow differently, something is constantly happening: interesting and funny, funny and tragic, but essentially meaningless, fragmentary and chaotic, but completely understandable, for some reason natural and strictly according to the plot. The brothers leave the choice of the category of absurdity and its designation to the audience. The brothers do not insist or declare, they have fun, giving an opportunity for 90 minutes to look at this world from a completely different peak, made up of eternal and transient values, which we do not immediately notice, because we live in captivity of the illusory logic of cause-and-effect relationships. fun.

Something similar exists in business. Somewhere there, in the inter-strings of adventurous success, a carefree and contagious fun can be traced. Fun is a powerful handwriting of unconditionally strong, confident and, no matter how strange it may sound, self-critical leaders. The fifth element of self-sufficient and unhurried victories is fun. Without it, there is no strong field of involvement in any kind of reality.

Richard Branson is a unique personification of European success with a pronounced fun dominant. Everything he does, he does with pleasure and with pleasure. He does not stop talking about it at every convenient and inconvenient occasion. Branson has created another widely recognized cliché - the image of a successful Western European entrepreneur. If we say "entrepreneur", then this is definitely Branson. The cult figure of the European dream is boldly opposed to any overseas one. A dyslexic child with a more than modest academic record who became the owner of the Virgin Group. Hans Christian Andersen, having read Branson's biography, would probably have publicly burned all his fairy tales, similar to the stories of the ugly duckling. Air travel, recording studios, fitness centers, drinks, space flights, and a dozen more destinations united by the Virgin brand. In general, the guy succeeded. And he writes books that people actually read.

Simple, and therefore seemingly incredible, the secret of success was discovered by Branson long ago. The secret, at first glance, naive, but clearly alive and revealingly effective, like the author himself. The secret of a logical combination of two simple words: "Take it and do it!". Millions take and millions do. Many millions fail. It does not work.

In their disappointed eyes, an endless running tape of a silent question flickers: “How so, we took it and we do it? We read Richard's cherished book, we carefully outlined the main postulates, we practically learned it by heart. So where are our factories and ships? Where is our long-awaited success, where is the orchestra and drummers, where are the camera flashes and the blood-red carpet in which our priceless boots are buried?

Branson is clearly disingenuous, Pandora's box turns out to be with a double bottom: "You don't take it, gentlemen, and you don't do it like that." But, one way or another, Branson's main value is his categorical and constant "act." The reality-changing leader today is a man of action.

People in aprons changing the world

Humanity is trying to influence change And maintain their moral principles. It is organized into closed clubs and societies of the keepers of truth. Societies create states. Active export of values is the basis of profitable expansion. The expansion of values is the forerunner of a new reality. A focused declaration of values is today called the information flow.

The constant fun of the Europeans with the redistribution of rights and forms of ownership led to endless and bloody wars. This is a visiting card of the early Middle Ages, and of all the first ten centuries after the Nativity of the Savior. in Russia, and to this day, such fun is from time to time popular among select circles of the population.

But now is not about that. Now about the values brought into the world by Christianity. About those simple human values that for a long time existed in a stunning separation from reality, from the form of existence of social consciousness, from the habits of thousands of people. They existed separately from the insane and cruel policy of states, the routine betrayals of fellow tribesmen, and indeed the whole world as a whole. They existed separately from what makes a man a man.

In addition to the most important value, the sacred guide of the path of salvation, the planetary beacon with the name "LOVE", in Christianity there was and still is another important sequence set forth in dogmas. A well-known and quoted mantra declaring the principles of relations between people and, of course, familiar to all those who found this slogan in textbooks new history- "freedom equality Brotherhood". Under feudalism, such an order of the strongest, but practically heretical concepts and appeals could be preserved and multiplied only within the framework of a limited and closed circle of like-minded people who fully shared these ideals and unconditionally devoted to them. Only a limited and select circle.

Thus, in fact, Freemasonry was born. Well, maybe not quite so, but the essence of its origin is clearly present in such ideals. The values of this professional political movement are unchanged - freedom, equality, fraternity. The professional union of English freemasons, and this is precisely what the word “mason” means, built castles, cities, and then entire states.

The symbols of the brotherhood are carefully scattered throughout the world. They are also on the most important currency in the world (everyone knows this, but somehow they do not attach any importance to this, not wanting to spoil their pleasure from using it). The creator and first president of this country is the chief freemason of the youngest state. All 55 members of the Philadelphia Conspiracy are Freemasons.

Proclaiming the highest value of freedom, first of all, they certainly had in mind freedom from English taxes and all kinds of restrictions. In the context of the Declaration, it was proposed to start sharing values within one market. This was followed by a program to export these values around the world. This course has been steadily maintained to this day.

The most famous symbol of Freemasonry denotes the following strategic principles: we cognize the world and strive for the highest truth, which is God, we, due to our origin, and maybe the highest script, have a certain limited “perspective”. But God himself, being the Great Architect, is open to knowledge, and the mission of each of us is to know him as the ultimate form of truth. For one life and nobly, and self-sufficient, and a lot. Or maybe not. Maybe the main symbol is what is left of the seal of Solomon.

Read the inscriptions around the pyramid on the one dollar bill: Annuit Copts - he made a commitment, Novus Ordo Seclorum - the new world order. New world order. The key message to the world is a new world order. We will change this world. We will change reality.

What happened next with the declared values of North American Freemasons over the next three centuries? Values are actively exported and are the conductor of the mass expansion of the new world order. "By their deeds you will know them." The world symbol of freedom with a torch in one hand and a tablet in the other. Brotherhood and equality fully formulate their actions within the interests of individual industrial groups, markets and, ultimately, individuals and their families initiated into a higher idea. Little has changed before and after Operation Philadelphia. Except perhaps some external forms and a planetary scale. Draw your own conclusions. In just three centuries. That's what action people are. Branson, by comparison, is a kid having fun in the sandbox.

Time really changes the forms and ways of declaring the values invented by man and, consequently, his interests. Today, such directed statements of any declaration of interests are called nothing more than information flows.

Infodiarrhea

Communication is the matter that laid the foundation for the new economy. We are focused on the role of the consumer, operating on our human weaknesses and instincts. We are distracted from the main thing, without realizing that it really is for us. The get-rich-quick legend virus has swept the planet. Everyone wants everything right now.

A huge, all-sweeping stream of information, endless and boundless, like the Universe, pours out on humanity like a tornado Flood day and night. Its tsunami waves cover you with non-stop news, annoying and untimely ads, tiresome weather reports, meaningless blogs, Morse code SMS and cell phone torture. And you are deeply mistaken if you think that through motley media you consume exclusively flat crime series or animal jokes of Stand Up comedians, a rare recipe for cooking couscous or an optimistic story of love regained for the 13th time. Along with all this nonsense, a specific serum is poured into you, you are introduced to some far-fetched values that are beneficial to those who pay for this sugary and confident stream, and you become their ardent supporters.

Information in itself is not a cheap substance, since it needs to be produced and delivered to the addressee in the most remote corners of the planet. The logistics and distribution of these values are thoroughly worked out by specialists to every second, to every glance, to the fleeting half-gesture of the presenter, the significant pause of the announcer, the bright background of the studio, the disturbing or careless musical background. The annual development of technology allows the introduction of more and more new delivery channels. Are you tired of TV, you don't listen to the radio, newspapers have already become an anachronism? It does not matter. You will still and certainly be reached in social networks and messages, billboards and tickers on LCD panels, wherever you are present in any of your physical and spiritual guises and incarnations.

Social media. Another technology for sublimated contacting, in fact, lonely people. Do you think that they exist for convenient and comfortable communication? No catch - of course, communication is the place to be at this electronic vanity fair. But with the only difference that one way or another, you are unambiguously and against your will affected by a simulated general flow of moods and hints. A stream of understatement and invisible messages "between the lines", systematized in banners or news feeds, in reposts and game applications. Everywhere, like a gaping magician, the ears of a surprise rabbit casually protrude from the black cylinder of pages. However, even if they stick out, it is for the sole purpose of attracting your attention. Because your attention is something that, until it is usurped by an information noose, belongs only to you, and, unfortunately, you, and only you, “can” dispose of it so carelessly.

"An office worker switches from one activity to another on average every three minutes."

GLORIA MARK

No attention - no infusion of information, no infusion - no access to your wallet or brain, no sales, no result. The main thing is that you, by all means, pull on the uniform of a fanatical consumer that is already bursting at all the seams. Capturing your attention is a very, very serious matter. This is not a question of one billion free European currency.

"Constant Partial Attention" is a term coined by Linda Stone.

In this case, all tools that are effectively practiced to attract attention can be considered suitable and useful. from rumors to rumors, from a squiggle on the fence to a multi-million dollar party for some occasion, from provocative statements to non-random photos. And also the speed, the speed of dissemination of this information. This is an amazing feeling on line ... This is an exciting sense of belonging.

But not only the speed of dissemination of information can make one's head spin in this spiritualistic session. Speed - in the modern world is already a cult in itself. "Ferrari" is a red devil, a symbol of the century, "Lamborghini" is a yellow rocket. Speed is a symbol of success and its indispensable condition. If it's fast, then it's a success. Why is Formula 1 the most successful speed show in every respect? Because the formula for success is also speed.

The speed of life, the ever-increasing speed of any existing and regulated processes, and the most important category of speed is the speed of enrichment. Speed to make money. Sometimes you wonder how the stock exchanges do not work on Saturday and Sunday. Well, on Saturday it's understandable - a good half of highly paid employees will definitely not go to work, hiding behind religious principles. But the rest?

Presumably, in this case, all this fuss would instantly become a theater of aimless absurdity: if everyone who really earns this big money goes to work on Saturday and Sunday, then when will they spend this money pumped out of thin air?

Do you think the modest greed of white-collar workers would not have made them work harmoniously seven days a week for most of their lives? Don't even doubt it. It is not excluded that the economy in this case could suffer catastrophically due to declining consumption. The decision came simply: two days of rest for those who work five days. Those who do not work five days a week can afford to spend all seven days. In fact, this is why the wealthy idlers spend more than the well-to-do working people. But this is just a hypothesis based on flat everyday logic...

Computers and the Internet allow you to make money no matter where you are on this planet. Your relativity to CET is only important from their point of view of the opening and closing of stock exchanges. A well-remembered school poem that explains the nature of time zones like this: “When we have day, then they have night. So they need it, ”has now acquired a new meaning. Because while you sleep sweetly, drunk on tranquilizers and bourbon, your narrow-eyed colleagues or owners of pink palms can bypass you just because they really have a day, and you, excuse me, still have a night.

The world around you unceremoniously draws your attention to its values, introducing you to them and pushing you to spontaneous purchase. Managing your attention allows you to ensure and predict your active consumer position throughout your life, and even away from the shelves with goods, but closer to the ballot boxes.

Everyone around frantically and frankly boorishly feel you in search of your cherished button. “So where is his button?” lamented the villain-hero from the popular movie. Really, where is this "make money" button? Who presses it and how? But wait, who presses, we know - this is a list, it is on the TV screen and in the Forbes listing. But how...how do they do it? Warren Buffett... Seer of Omaha.

He knows how to attract the attention of hundreds of thousands of professionals or, on the contrary, completely turn it off from the magical distracting passes of a brilliant magician. He knows exactly how to calculate the potential of what will attract the attention of millions of investors, for how long it will be riveted, in what columns and on what numbers. Because he creates this attention. Market forecasts are created by people. Even if the forecast is a product computer program one way or another, people end up interpreting its meaning. Ordinary people like you and me. The result of their judgments is the object of close attention of all other players. What is not a distorted reality?

Warren's attention is the biggest money. Buffett, like a hypermagnet, attracts attention to himself, and his entourage - followers loyal to the last dollar - form the train that fascinates everyone else, looking into the mouth of their well-fed and smiling guru, and they, choking and in a hurry, repeat all the steps and seer's sighs. Buffett is focused on the essentials. The main thing in his game. Or maybe our concentration on a hundred or two smiling mouths from the Forbes list does not allow us to focus on the main thing for ourselves, instead of staring at our guru, who is enough attention without us.

"Civilization is made up of what we forbid, not what we allow."

GREGORY DAVID ROBERTS

Focusing on the essential. At the very, most important. The most important thing is that the term “self-realization” is firmly embedded in us. Focusing on everything that contributes and brings us closer to this goal: on methods, technologies, methods, instructions, details on the map of our path to the alluring and imaginary peak. Almost everything and more is being done so that success finally touches us with its noble hand, studded with gold and diamonds, smelling of expensive leather of the car interior, but sometimes outrageous, like the spring collections of an alternative couturier. Maybe we forgot something?

Maybe the guidebook has been in our pocket for a long time, or is casually waiting in the wings on the bookshelf next to Tyutchev's volume and is called "Diploma with Honors"? Maybe the map of this path to success is paved with our many years of education?

By itself modern education archaic and ineffective. The system that emerged in the era of industrialization cannot in any way meet the needs and interests of the digital age, and even more so the era of communications. Read Ken Robinson. The learning loop is outdated and has become a noose. Modern world Enlightenment to this day operates with incomprehensible pseudo-motivating proverbs-methods about smart companions learning from the experience of others. Complete absurdity.

Positive experience, namely the experience of obtaining a positive result, is possible only within the framework of one life and one time period. Any result has exact coordinates of place and time. All other described victories - defeats - are the victories of other commanders, in other conditions, with other soldiers, with other weapons and at another time.

Everyone has their own Waterloo, and no matter how you study the biography and tactics of Wellington, you will never repeat his success. Elementary - maybe just unlucky with the weather.

Dusty tomes, dubious multi-page tests, long and sometimes monotonous lectures. And what, in today's world there are cardinal alternatives? All of the above is already outdated, but there is still nothing new, really new ... distance learning and a whole arsenal of comfort gadgets. But the system itself remains unchanged.

And if so, how to teach, what to teach and whom to teach? What disciplines should a person study, who tomorrow, and even today, must make decisions in this world, about which it is reliably known only that it is constantly changing. Success today is not the same as success tomorrow and even more so yesterday. Who will own this world? What are they, these successful heroes-builders of the new world?

How and with the help of what technologies will these heroes be able to build the field of their reality, what qualities should be developed in themselves and what competencies should be built up?

Immersed in the context of our galloping exposition of the vision of the world and its trends, we are confident that a new distorted reality will be created and owned by:

End of introductory segment.

Futurology is not an exact science, although futurists use reliable methods mathematical statistics. Science fiction is not a science at all, and even more so should not be expected from it to be accurate in predicting the future. The future, many say, is generally unpredictable, so there is no need to fuss, trying to predict what is impossible to foresee. Live for today, plan for tomorrow, and let oracles, sibyls, pythonesses, clairvoyants, astrologers and other cassanders look into the day after tomorrow. Of course, they are also wrong in most cases, but at least they are not in great demand. Astrologers are still believed (those who believe in astrology at all) even when they are wrong. And if a science fiction writer or a futurologist is mistaken, this is already unforgivable!

Fantasists quite often name specific dates in their works and most often make mistakes - it’s generally difficult with dates, it’s not a solar eclipse to predict and not the Moon’s coverage of the Crab Nebula. It is worse if a fundamental mistake occurs - say, futurologists predicted global warming, general melting of ice and flooding of continents, but in fact, after a really real maximum temperature, a cooling suddenly begins, so much so that it is time to talk about the upcoming new ice age. Because it turns out that all of our technology is not yet capable of changing the global climate in the way that the Sun can easily do.

In general, this unreliable business is a prediction of the future. But enticing. And here is a curious psychological phenomenon. If an esoteric prophet makes a mistake (and they make mistakes no less than science fiction writers or futurologists), then they forget about it very quickly, and remember the correct predictions (if any) with great reverence (“Oh, this is the same ash-Sharni, who predicted the death of Princess Diana!"). If a science fiction writer or a futurologist is mistaken, then everything happens exactly the opposite: “Oh,” readers say, “this is the same author who wrote that Soviet Union will exist even in a thousand years, and in a decade, take it and…”.

In fact, such a difference in approaches is natural. The fact is that only those who are initially inclined to believe their every word listen to the esoteric prophets. A believer (it does not matter that in this case we are not talking about faith in God) doubts are not characteristic. And vice versa: science fiction and futurological forecasts are read and analyzed by people who are not inclined to simple faith. People with a scientific mindset have doubts by nature. Naturally, they first of all pay attention to errors - they do the same in their scientific work.

And yet, despite numerous mistakes, both science fiction writers and futurologists with enviable persistence try to imagine the near and distant future of mankind.

When predicting the future, futurologists usually use developed methods - the trend method, for example, or an expert survey (Delphi method).

Futurologists consider the method of expert survey to be more reliable. A group of specialists in some field of science or technology is selected, and they are asked the question: for example, in how many years, in your opinion, will the first thermonuclear power plant be built? Experts answer that their opinions, of course, differ from each other, and sometimes radically. Some say never, others - in a year or earlier. A specialist futurologist processes these numbers, discards the extreme ones and asks the question again, slightly correcting it. After the next round (maybe after the third or even the fourth), a generalized opinion of the experts is published. Futurological forecasts most often concern particular cases. Expert polls related to global issues are rare. Firstly, this is a troublesome business, it is difficult to gather experts who are sufficiently competent in various fields of knowledge. And secondly, who specifically needs global predictions, who will order and pay for such a study?

For these or some other reasons, but the first and to date the only widely known expert survey related to multifaceted futurological forecasting was conducted by employees of the American RAND corporation T. Gordon and O. Helmer in 1964. Not only well-known scientists were chosen as experts, but also popular science fiction writers - A. Azimov and A. Clark. The experts were asked 30 questions about the timing of the implementation of certain scientific ideas and plans and 25 questions about the timing of the implementation of inventions, mainly in the field of automation.

Now we can say that almost half of the forecasts have come true. However, they were realized to a different extent and at different times, including those that did not coincide with those predicted.

Most experts were convinced that a controlled thermonuclear reaction would be carried out in 1986, by 2003 man would have learned to control the processes of gravity by modifying the gravitational field, and finally by 2023 mankind would establish two-way communication with aliens (judging by the current level of development of science, this is unlikely to happen). in the near future, if at all). But at the same time, experts unanimously said “never” in response to a question about the possibility of systematic wiretapping, and this is no longer surprising to anyone today.

The world exists as we see it, exactly up to the limit with which we agree. As soon as reality ceases to suit us, there is always the opportunity to change everything, to choose a new path from the numerous space of options. It was this idea that V. Zeland put into the book, which managed to become a bestseller. And in this article, we will squeeze out the best recommendations from everyone's favorite author, which will help you look at your life from a new perspective, even if you are not familiar with the laws of transurfing. It's time to believe in miracles!

10 best thoughts of V. Zeland

1. Accept the real you, with all visible and invisible imperfections. Stop forcing your soul with other people's desires, remove projections of your own expectations from those around you. Allow yourself to be yourself, as well as other people to be different.

2. If you can stop the “mental chewing gum”, feel the breath of the wind, the beauty of the sky, the charm of the present moment, if others do not get tired of repeating to you that you are a little strange and do not fit into the surrounding reality - congratulations, you have learned to wake up!

3. Learn to wait for the fulfillment of your desire with imperturbable calmness, feeling yourself the master of the situation. Remember, the world is coming towards you. You just need to survive the plateau, endure the moment when it seems that you are standing still, and nothing around is changing. This is a sham, a setup, a pendulum test of your faith.

4. For a miracle to happen, think not about the means to achieve your cherished desire, feverishly sorting through all the available options, but about the goal itself. Spin the reality slide where you have already become a winner.

5. We always live in the reality that we broadcast in the mirror of the world. Discontent, resentment, complaints about loved ones, a feeling of being driven out or hopelessness - these are the enemies that we tame, nourishing with our energy. Stop radiating what you don't want to see. Change your attitude to the world - and it will accurately reflect your inner transformation.

6. The world is a big mirror. The problem with people is that they look into it and try to change the reflection, but you have to do the opposite! Change yourself, your actions, your way of thinking - then the picture will also change. The mirror is not a reality in the flesh, but a projection of our inner decisions.

7. Not only a person depends on the influence of the reality surrounding him, but reality itself is the work of his hands and initiative. The question is: what role do you choose - author or follower? If we adamantly follow the goal, stubbornly write our scenario of fate - sooner or later reality will adjust to our inner intention, it will have nowhere else to go.

8. Do not rush to be disappointed in life, no matter how difficult or unsightly it may be. Wherever you are, you are where you need to be. The experiences you experienced were needed by your experience for a purpose. And the most interesting thing is that at any age and under any circumstances, you can rewrite the rules, beat everything in your favor. Do not lose heart, do not believe that life has passed by. This is the beginning of the journey, you have just laid the foundation.

9. You will get a dream exactly at the moment when you stop lusting for the goal and take up the intention to possess it. When from the position “I want, but I don’t have”, you will move to the position “I want, I can and I’m already going.” The main thing is not to overfeed the pendulum of significance, to go to the dream simply, as if you went to the store for bread.

10. Any trouble is just a wrapper for new opportunities. Bad weather, getting fired, betrayal - these are all circumstances that can lead us to the stars if we think not about losing, but about winning. Stop engaging in masochism and start enjoying troubles, looking for benefits in problems. You will see very soon that it is really there!

Stop whining and start getting addicted to traffic jams, negativity, rudeness and problems. The world becomes the way we see it. Even a problem turns into luck as soon as you give up stereotypical thinking and crooked mirrors. Be yourself, follow the call of the soul, do not overestimate the potentials of importance and remain the author of your world.

Transition. How do we see it?
Who thought what the transition would be like? Surely each of us drew terrible images imposed on us by public opinion and the images that television offers us. We are constantly waiting for something terrible to happen to us, we are waiting for all sorts of cataclysms and destruction. We will be captured and enslaved by alien civilizations. But, at the same time, we completely exclude ourselves, those images that we can create and those thought forms that can become a reality.
Each of us is the creator of the world in which we live. And we see exactly what we ourselves create in our imagination. For example, even living in the same family, people perceive and see the world differently. We have different views on events, on people's behavior, and so on. If everything is good for one, then the same events or situations for another seem to be something completely terrible or negative. What then is really happening? But in fact, an event is happening that is the same for everyone, but differently perceived by our consciousnesses. One is glad that the Sun is shining today, and for the other this light is blinding and burning. One rejoices in the rain, and the other moans from the fact that slush and cloudiness do not allow him to enjoy life. But in fact, the same thing happens. This means that all this happens not outside, but inside of us. So we are responsible for what we think and for what happens to us. It is our inner world that draws everything that then happens to us. After all, tragedies and troubles least of all happen to an optimist and a person for whom there are no problems and everything is fine with him, and he is happy with everything. And why is this? Yes, from the fact that he sees only the positive in everything and thereby builds his world the way he wants to see it.
So what about the transition? Yes, exactly the same thing. If we create our world the way we want to see it, and our reaction to what is happening draws those images that will definitely take their forms and be embodied in the future, which means that a lot depends on us and our imagination. We send a request to the Universe, it answers us. And what we ask for is what we receive. And, therefore, we need to learn to think the way we want to live. It is the creation of new forms and a new vision of our reality that will help us make our life completely different from what we have now.
Let's think about how we want to see our Transition to a new reality? Let's draw the image that will help us get through this period painlessly and without loss. But you just need to make sure that these images are bright, and nothing negative interferes with our colors. Let's learn to create and live in what we create ourselves. Let's not blame anyone for what we create ourselves. Let's take all the responsibility only on ourselves, and perhaps then our world will be transformed and shine with completely different colors. And our consciousness will finally wake up and remember that we are the Creators. Peace to all.
